On the afternoon of December 20, 2020 , Vietnam's first HSK studying online education exhibition of studying in China was held successfully bySchool of Humanities . Luo Lin teacher , Yang Lei teacher and classmates Zhang Xinyi attended the preaching activities. This event is hosted by the Chinese-foreign Language Exchange Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education and organized by the Chinese Proficiency Test Center of the University of Hanoi in Vietnam. Besides our school , many other universities took part in this activity, including Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology and Tongji University. At same time, hundreds of students participated on the spot, and about 3,000 others Participated online .
Ms. Yang Lei introducedattendance the general situation of our school in terms of school construction, educational philosophy, international cooperation and introduced the general situation of the School of Humanities from the aspects of college scale, development history, discipline construction, international cooperation, faculty, and student training, which enhance their understanding of our faculty. Meanwhile, Ms. Yang expressed warm welcome to the outstanding youths from Vietnam to study at HUST. Due to the large number of French speakers in Vietnam, Ms. Yang also expressed a cordial greeting in French to the teachers and students who participated in the event online , and emphasized the strong French academic atmosphere of our faculty, which greatly attracted the attention of the students. Later, Ms. Yang introduced the cooperation projects with the Confucius Institutes at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, fully demonstrating the positive attitude and good image of the Faculty of Humanities in foreign cooperation.
As representatives of outstanding graduates of the Chinese language education of the School of Humanities, Ge Longlong and Qiu Liang, with the theme of "Study in HUST, Empathize with Humanities", vividly introduced to the participants the learning situation of the Chinese academic education and the life of international students in our faculty, and told them the story of establishing close friendshipswith many international students and learning together
In the end, the students at the Vietnam conference actively asked questions about paper publications and scholarship applications. Ms. Luo Lin answered them in detail, making the students more determined to study in China.
Our faculty has always been favored by Vietnamese students, especially among the graduate students. 2020 Vietnam's first HSK online education exhibition is the new model of enrollment publicity work for international students studying in China at the special period, which depends on the convenient Internet, organized by Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Center for Chinese and foreign Languageof Ministry of Education and successfully achieved close ties with South Vietnam.
