In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, earnestly carry out the "four histories" education among young people, carefully implement the spirit of the "Four Histories" study and education documents of the Ministry of Education, and strengthen students' ideals and beliefs, the Faculty of Humanities organized teachers and students of the college to go to the Hankou Red Cultural Site Group to carry out the "Revisit the Red Site, Feel the Original Mission" investigation and visiting activity, one of the "Four History" learning and education series of activities, on the occasion of the 71st National Day and the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. This event invited Xia Zengmin, deputy director of the Institute of History of the School of Humanities, as the guest speaker, and more than 70 people , including Zhu Ye, a teacher of the Institute of History, Song Haipei, a counselor of the School of Humanities, and key graduate students and party activists participated in the event. The explanation and guided tour were undertaken by members of the "Red Culture Study Group" of the Institute of History of the School of Humanities.
All members arrived at the Soong Ching Ling Hankou residence at the intersection of Yanjiang Avenue and Li Huangpi Road. Teacher Xia Zengmin enthusiastically introduced to everyone Soong Ching Ling’s deeds against imperialism and feudal warlords in Wuhan during the National Revolution. All the students present were impressed by their persistent quality and lofty ideals.
Along the Lihuangpi Road, the team arrived at the site of the August 7th Conference. The gold plaque on the red background written by Comrade Deng Xiaoping looked particularly dazzling in the sun. Teacher Xia Zengmin and the lecturer of the Red Culture Study Group introduced the historical background of the August 7th Conference, the course of the conference and a series of important achievements, which made the students deeply aware of the hardships and difficulties of our party in exploring the revolutionary road in the early days and the noble spirit of the members of Chinese Communist Party.
Bypassing Luojia Mountain Road, our team arrived at the former site of the Yangtze River Bureau where party revolutionaries such as Luo Yinong coordinated the revolutionary activities of the provinces and made great contributions to the advancement of the workers and peasants along the Yangtze River.
Finally, the team came to the former office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan. This three-story building tells the revolutionary chants of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan despite its short time shortage, and witnessed the victory of the National Revolution and the history of the Party's struggle and development in the confusion and hardship. With the theme of the CPC Central Committee in Wuhan, Teacher Xia Zengmin introduced to the teachers and students the historical situation of the transfer from the CPC Central Committee to Wuhan after the victory of the Northern Expedition to the revolutionary center after the confluence of the Ninghan and Han Dynasties, and also told the story of the early leaders of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan, such as Mao Zedong and Cai Hesen and Qu Qiubai.
In order to celebrate the 71st National Day, the students participating in thePractice of the song"Singing for the Motherland" in front of the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhanat the end of the activity. They used loud singing to wish the motherland a happy birthday and prosperity.
The Faculty of Humanities has been holding high the banner of Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and pushing the "Four History" education activities in depth. Through visits and inspections of the red cultural relics, teachers and students Had a better understanding of party history and national history and realize that today's beautiful and happy life is hard to come by.

At present, a lecture on the spirit of Wuhan city has been held. Next, the Faculty of Humanities will continue to carry out the "Four History" education in depth, make use of academic advantages and professional support, and rely on the Red Culture Study Group, a high-quality student cultural research and practice team, to promote the innovation of the "Four History" learning and education.By combining the "Four History" education with the ideological and political education of college students, and the daily work of the college, we could truly achieve cultural education, practical education, and continuously improve the level of morality.
